Brant
Brant has spent forty years turning ideas into real objects. He started in 1986 at Two Wheels Good, a bike shop in Leeds, then wrote about mountain bikes for MBUK, MBR and Bikemagic.
In 1999 he co-founded On-One with his old friend Dave Loughran of Planet X, one of the first bike brands to sell direct to riders. He designed the Inbred, the Scandal and the 456, then created Ragley and worked on Nukeproof and Vitus.
In 2009 he set up Shedfire, his own design studio in Todmorden, promising “frames, components, hats and dried meat products“. Later he ran Titus Cycles for Planet X.
In 2015 he founded HebTroCo in Hebden Bridge and spent over a decade making clothing in British mills and factories. He left in 2026 to start Short Run Design.

Yvonne
Yvonne comes from museums and collections. She’s spent her career caring for objects, understanding their stories, and thinking about why some things are worth keeping. She brings calm, context, and a strong instinct for quality and meaning. See Yvonne’s picks.
What we do
We love travel, good food, the outdoors and well-made things that earn their place in everyday life. Tools that feel right. Objects with purpose. Small pleasures that quietly improve how things work or feel.
So that’s what we sell: our own hoodie, pocket knives made in Sheffield, bags from Rotterdam, mugs, cards, soap, and tinned fish we can’t stop eating. Some of it we make, some of it friends make, and some of it we just love. Every product links back to the people behind it.
When a run sells out, it’s usually gone.
