Salt Weave Studio is the work of textile designer Rebecca Ough, based in Baildon on the edge of Bradford’s historic textile district.

Rebecca designs her fabrics on a handloom, working out structure, scale and colour by hand before moving into small-scale production with local spinners, weavers and finishers. It’s a process that sits between studio craft and mill production, rooted in the wool heritage of Yorkshire.

Her work focuses on natural fibres, particularly merino lambswool, and is defined by confident pattern, clarity of design and a respect for how things are actually made.

Everything is produced in Yorkshire in small batches. No excess, no shortcuts. Just proper cloth, made well.
